Applying for student finance
Students who are resident in England should submit their application for tuition fee loans, loans for living costs and non-repayable financial help via the student finance section of the GOV.UK website.
You should apply for your student finance early to make sure that your funding is in place at the start of your course. You don’t need a confirmed place at university to apply for funding. You should use your first choice of course (this can be changed online at a later date if required).
The living cost loan and any non-repayable financial help that you’re entitled to will be paid directly into your bank or building society account in three instalments – usually in September, January and April.
Students who are resident in other areas of the UK can apply via the links below:

Eligible students (UK) will be able to borrow the full cost of tuition from the government in the form of a tuition fee loan. The tuition fee loan isn’t currently means-tested and is available to all eligible students.
The undergraduate tuition fee and tuition fee loan will remain at £9,250 per year for 2021 entry.
